Tools

I keep a lot of info on the tools I use out there. I’m a big fan of the
terminal, Vim, and some other things. If you have any tips/tricks to share make
sure to let me know. I’m always looking to improve my work environment.

Vim

Vim Screencasts are my latest attempt to
spread the Vim love. After giving another round of Vim Open Space at PyOhio I decided to put some of my tricks to
video. Let me know if there’s something you’d like to add/have covered in the
future.

Vim Config is my shared Vim config. It’s round 3 or 4
and I spent some solid time documenting it all, plugins, system requirements,
and shortcuts. Definitely some quality time spent in there so check it out and
hopefully you can get at least a tweak/two out of it.

ZSH

ZSH is awesome and I’ve done a couple of Open Space
talks at Ohio Linuxfest and PyOhio. It’s a great alternative to Bash and I
tried to list out some initial Must Haves that ZSH provides for you.
Make sure to check out the .min config to help bootstrap your ZSH
testing. It’s basically most of the things that are noted in the README to help
get you started quickly.
